That reality is the amount of change that is taking place and the accelerating rate of that change. The problem is how flight departments, and we as individual pilots, are struggling to keep up with it. There is general agreement that technology, complexity, and globalization are among the principal forces driving change in the world at large and clearly in the world of aviation as well.
