The effort aims to empower business aviation pilots to pause, reflect, and sharpen their safety focus in alignment with the initiative\u2019s goal to foster a stronger safety culture across the industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pilots who register by April 15, 2025, may select one training module, courtesy of Advanced Aircrew Academy. Each module targets a high-risk area identified within the industry and is designed to help flight departments reinforce a strong safety culture through focused, practical learning.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur goal is to enhance the safety content available during the National Pause by providing focused, relevant material specifically for business aviation pilots,\u201d said Dan Boedigheimer, Ph.D., Chief Safety Officer at Advanced Aircrew Academy and Chair of the NBAA Safety Committee. \u201cWe\u2019re offering targeted training on preventable accident topics\u2014such as runway excursions, incursions, and controlled flight into terrain\u2014for pilots committed to sharpening their focus on the risks most relevant to our type of flying.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pilots may choose from the following training modules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Runway Excursion Prevention<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Runway Incursion Prevention<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crew Resource Management: Effective Monitoring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To register<\/strong>, participants should email <a href=\"mailto:support@aircrewacademy.com\">support@aircrewacademy.com<\/a> with their name and preferred module topic from this list to receive one-time complimentary access.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Call to Action<\/strong>: The groups ask their members to visit the dedicated GA Safe website to review the aviation safety content.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Join us in honoring this national safety initiative by taking a meaningful step toward greater awareness, deeper learning, and a stronger safety culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About National Pause for General Aviation Safety&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Pause for General Aviation Safety is an initiative spearheaded by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) in collaboration with the Federal Aviation Administration&#8217;s (FAA) Safety Team and other general aviation organizations.
