OK then, glad you\u2019re here.<\/p>\n<p>Well, maybe there are more of you out there who use the site, but you were just too shy to raise your hand. In that case, this article is for you.<\/p>\n<p>As we aren\u2019t going to reteach the RNAV PBN training course in this blog article, here\u2019s the summary:<\/p>\n<p>If you are going to fly any type of RNAV procedure during your upcoming flight, you must check to be sure that the continuous RNAV GPS equipment integrity checks (that\u2019s RAIM) are going to be available for the duration of your flight, with no outage lasting more than 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Either your equipment will do this RAIM checking for you or you must do it. If you must do it, there are a variety of ways available, including going to the FAA\u2019s RAIM Prediction website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.raimprediction.net.\">www.raimprediction.net. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The two crewmembers who raised their hands in our virtual class just now have been to the site recently and noticed the announcement that the function is in the process of migrating to a new site. That site, at <a href=\"http:\/\/sapt.faa.gov\">http:\/\/sapt.faa.gov<\/a>, will combine the RAIM prediction function and the ADS-B prediction function in one place.
