CRM / Human Factors: Stress Management

CRM / Human Factors: Stress Management

The Crew Resource Management / Human Factors: Stress Management module includes a review of Yerkes–Dodson curve, which describes the relationship between stress and performance. From the left side of the curve where there is too little stress to the right side where too much stress negatively affects our performance, we include tools and techniques to manage stress across the spectrum. The module also includes the key sources of stress, chronic stress symptoms, and how to develop resilience.

The training contents of this module are included in the Crew Resource Management – Part 135 module.

This module is one of many options for Crew Resource Management / Human Factors training for pilots.
