Charleston, SC - August 20, 2018 - The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) has published the final release of the 2018 International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) in July 2018. The online training package is called Safety Clickdown. The Safety Clickdown program is designed to supplement training provided by PCAT at their annual Safety Smackdown. Civil Aviation Authorities in Hong Kong, Australia, and Oman have recently approved operators to use online courses by Advanced Aircrew Academy. The Civil Aviation Department in Hong Kong approved an operator to use customized versions of Cold Weather Operations, Controlled Flight Into Terrain, Dangerous Goods, Fatigue Management, and High Altitude Operations courses. Advanced Aircrew Academy announces the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Flight Technologies and Procedures Division, Future Flight Technologies Branch (AFS-430) has approved their Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) online training module. Previously, operators have had their local FSDO review Advanced Aircrew Academy’s ADS-B online training module and approve the training for the issuance Letter of Authorization (LOA) or Ops Spec A353.
