OSHA Online Training Modules Expanded
- October 23, 2013

In response to two recent changes at the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Advanced Aircrew Academy has expanded their OSHA online training modules for pilots, flight attendants, and mechanics.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently released a new Rule Making Document: Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Standards for Aircraft Cabin Crewmembers. This rule making includes Hazard Communications, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Noise Protection policies for Aircraft Cabin Crewmembers, which includes a mandate for training.
Advanced Aircrew Academy offers a comprehensive online training module for cabin crewmembers and pilots that includes ramp safety, aircraft fueling, hearing conservation, back safety, hazardous materials, bloodborne pathogens, and hazard communications.
Another recent change at OSHA is a Hazard Communication standard mandating that Business Aviation Flight Departments train their employees by December 1, 2013 for improved understanding on identification of and protection from hazardous chemicals in the workplace.
Advanced Aircrew Academy can guide your Flight Department through the achievement of learning success with comprehensive OSHA Courses that are customized to meet your training needs for all flight operation personnel, not just aircrews.
