Scholarship, established with the Georgia Business Aviation Association, will help aviation professionals earn NBAA’s Certified Aviation Manager designation
Atlanta, Georgia October 20, 2026 – Advanced Aircrew Academy today marks its 20th anniversary by announcing the launch of the Dr. Dan Boedigheimer Aviation Excellence Scholarship, established in partnership with the Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA).
The scholarship, named for Advanced Aircrew Academy’s co-founder, will cover the cost for aviation industry professionals to pursue the Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) designation, the National Business Aviation Association’s credential for professionals leading flight departments in business aviation.
Founded in 2006 by Dr. Dan Boedigheimer, Advanced Aircrew Academy has grown over two decades into a leading training and compliance platform trusted by flight departments and operators worldwide.
“The CAM designation represents the highest standard of leadership in business aviation, and the professionals who earn it set the tone for safety and excellence across their organizations,” said Jordan Huibers, Co-CEO at Advanced Aircrew Academy. “As Advanced Aircrew Academy marks its 20th anniversary, we are proud to partner with GBAA to help more aviation professionals in our home state pursue that standard.”
“Investing in the professionals who lead Georgia’s flight departments is central to GBAA’s mission,” said Ashley Charnley, Chair of the Georgia Business Aviation Association. “The CAM designation is a significant commitment of time and resources, and this scholarship opens that path to more members of our community.
