Maintenance Airworthiness Programs

Maintenance Airworthiness Programs
The eLearning module for maintenance, Airworthiness Programs, is designed to provide aviation professionals with essential knowledge and skills to ensure aircraft operations' ongoing safety and compliance. The module outlines various maintenance programs, strategies, relevant regulations, and standards that govern airworthiness and equips aircraft maintenance personnel with the necessary tools and knowledge to uphold high safety and compliance standards, contributing to the overall integrity of aviation operations.

While Part 135 (.413) does not explicitly mandate a specific airworthiness training program, it does require that operators establish and maintain a maintenance program that ensures compliance with airworthiness standards under Part 43.
Mechanics must be adequately trained to perform their duties, including understanding maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, and the overall maintenance program that supports the aircraft's airworthiness. This training is essential to ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
The module is not required by the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO, Chapter 15) or Business Aviation Safety Consortium (BASC) standard. However, operators establish and maintain a maintenance program ensuring airworthiness standards compliance. Mechanics must be adequately trained to perform their duties under Part 43, including understanding maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, and the overall maintenance program that supports the aircraft's airworthiness. This training is essential to ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
